Our office manager Julie and one of our administration apprentices, Libby, currently represent Sure Safe as Employer and Employee Apprentice Ambassadors. Yesterday, they attended the Liverpool City Region Skills Show 2018 as part of the International Business Festival week at the Exhibition Centre.
Libby delivered a presentation at the knowledge hub, all about apprenticeships but from her perspective. They also spent the afternoon offering a helping hand on the LCR Apprenticeship Hub stand. They spoke to young, local people and gave them guidance and advice about apprenticeships. They successfully engaged with the visitors and encouraged them to look further into the apprenticeship programme. To end a great day, Sure Safe came runner-up as Halton Apprentice Employer Of The Year at the Liverpool City Region Business Award ceremony. We are so honoured to have been shortlisted for such an award and to be invited to such a brilliant event.
