Supporting the Next Generation of Electricians Through Partnership
At Sure Safe, we’re passionate about developing the next generation of skilled electricians and supporting opportunities for apprentices to gain valuable hands-on experience.
Recently, we welcomed a group of apprentices from HMS to one of our commercial installation projects for a day of practical learning. As their current programme primarily focuses on domestic electrical work, the visit provided an opportunity to experience a different side of the industry and gain insight into commercial electrical installations.
Throughout the day, the apprentices worked alongside our experienced engineers, learning about commercial containment systems, cable management, installation methods, and the planning and coordination that goes into delivering commercial projects safely and efficiently.
The visit forms part of our ongoing partnership with HMS, helping to broaden the apprentices’ knowledge and expose them to a wider range of electrical environments that will support their future careers.
Investing in skills development is important for the future of our industry, and we’re proud to play a role in helping apprentices build confidence, develop new competencies, and gain real-world experience beyond the classroom.
